Prosecutor Salus was an educated judge of character through professional experience, feared by defense and delinquents. No excuse was alien to her, no justification unknown. Always concerned for the welfare of the citizens, she brought thugs and falcons down and put them behind bars. Only her son, the rascal, knew how to deceive her.
